THE FLOODS AT GISBORNE.

(per united press association.) Gisborne. June 10. - It has been definitely ascertained that no serious damage has been done to the settlers, owing to 'timely precautions having been taken in removing the stock. Messrs Wyllie, Broomfield, and others have brought their stock back. Great, damage has been done -to the country roads and the Aria Bridge, the latter being in a hopeless state. The rams and flood have now quite subsided.
