DUNEDIN.

February 26. A fire has destroyed the shops in North-East Valley occupied by Henry Miller, chemist, and Henry Bloxham, painter. There was great scarcity of water, and difficulty was experienced in preventing the flames spreading to the Cattle Market Hotel. Bloxham's stock was insured in the Transatlantic for £125, and the furniture for £125 in .the North British, but the loss is estimated at £200 above that. Miller is uninsured, but saved all his stock. May, who was injured at the railway crossing accident, died this morning. Floyd, another of the sufferers, is still in a dangerous condition.
