NEW PLYMOUTH.
February 25. It is reported that Barry, the gold prospector, has gone on to Longapoutu, with the view of crossing at the head of the Mokau river. The Natives are very enraged at his going on after they had warned him back, and an armed party has gone up the river to stop him and bring him back with force.
