MEETING OF CREDITORS.
* A meeting of the creditors of James Anthony was held at the Grand Jury Room on Monday, at 2.30 p.m. Proofs of debt were handed in as follows : — Per Mr J. J. Crawford— James Duigan, £39 ; Robert Pliarazyn, £17 ; Jno. Brennan, £6 5s Cd ; W. H. W. Forster, £5 19s; Wanganui-Waitotara Board, £7 sa. Per Mr L. L. Levy— Robert Bennie, £1 163 ; J. Gr. Sharpe, £5 12s 9d ; S. Peters (trustee in Jas. Bridge's estate), £11 16s ; L. L.'Levy, £6 10s : total, £101 4s 3d. The Chairman examined the debtor at considerable length, when Mr S. Peters, trustee in the estate of James Bridge, "proposed, atfd'MrL. L. Levy seconded, That Mr J. J. Crawford be appointed trustee. Carried. The following additional sums were put down in the schedule : — John Anderson, £2 6s ; William Lingard, £ 60 jT. W. Fisher, £42'; Mrs Anthony, £35 ; H. Morrow, £3 12s ;' J. Brennau, £5 ; total, £147 18s. Total liabilities, £249 2a 3s. " ' Assets — J. Poole, £100 ;' Boore arid Mehaffy, £46; Taylor, £11 9 a; small book debts, £40; five half-acre sections at Maxwell, £50 ; furniture, £10 ; total, £257 9a.
