Crawley; emergency. A r . Ward. Juniors: J. Daysh, F. Hopkins. B. Goodin, L. McLean, N. Andrews, B. George, A. Thompson, D. Jensen, L. Parker, D. Rofe, J. Paterson. Gathering at Parkvale. At the Parkvale Hall last evening a “parcel evening” was tendered to Miss Ngaire Williams. Mr D. Jensen was M.C. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr J. Herrick and Miss A. Williams, and a lucky soot by Mr McKenzie and Miss A. Hansen. Mr E. T. Bliss asked Miss AVilliams to open the parcels, Mr H. Cadwallader returning thanks. On behalf of the residents of the Parkale district, Mr C. Jensen, Senr.. presented Pte. A. Wadham with g wristlet watch. Dance extras were played by Miss B. James and Messrs Mclntosh and Oates. Supper was provided by the ladies of the district.
