TENNIS SEASON CLOSED PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. (“Times-Age” Special.) A most enjoyable dance was held in the Kaiparoro Hall to mark the closing of the tennis season. For the dancing the music was supplied by. Mrs G. Hansen (piano) and Mr N. Dick (drums and effects). Messrs R. Dick and K. Isakson acted as M s.C. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss Elva Dick and Mr B. Williams, and Miss Ngaire McLachlan and Mr K. Falkner, and the lucky spot dance by Miss June Larsen and Mr G. Jaspers., The many beautiful cups played toi during the past season were on show. Mr H. Woolland, secretary oi the club, in presenting the cups to the various winners, complimented all on the fine standard of play and the manner m which the games were contested. He also thanked the ladies for providing afternoon tea and helping to make the playing days enjoyable. The la dies championship cup was won by Miss Elva Dick, men’s championship cup by Mr R Dick, the ladies' senior handicap cup by Mrs C. Hansen, the men’s senior handicap cup by K. Isakson, the ladies’ junior cup by Miss Gwen Dick, and the men’s junior cup by Mi A. Neilsen. The A. Falkner handicap cup was won by Mrs C. Hansen. Personal Items. Messrs J. Isakson and A. Hansen have returned home after having spent two weeks fishing at Taupo. Mrs Isakson has returned after having spent a few days with her fathei, Mr Deadman, of Pukekohe. Mrs J. C. McAnulty is. home again after having visited Wellington.
