Women’s Division Meeting. At the monthly meeting of the Pahautea branch of the Women s Division of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, Mrs Ross presided over a good attendance of members. A pair of blankets purchased fqr the “Te Kiteroa” Rest Hoffie was shown to the members. Miss Beattie had kindly embroidered the name of the branch on them. , . It was decided to form a sewing circle, arid members were asked to bring to the next meeting tihy clothes suitable for remaking. The competition was won by Mrs Ross, with Mrs McKay second. Miss Frew won the, prize donated by Mrs Corlet for the best pair of boys’ pants. Afternoon tea was provided, the hostesses being Miss Friew. Mrs Bentley and Miss Elbe. The associate picture is “Maisie Gets her, Man,” d splendid comedy in wliith th’b pririeipal roles arc taken by Ahn Sothevn and Red Skelton.
