y MASTERTON CLUB SHOWS L KEEN COMPETITION Keen competition was in evidence at weekend shows held by the Masterton Horning Pigeon Club, the judge being Mr W. J. Miller. Bieggins 2, A. Pinkney 3, lan Mayes v.h.c., R. Stewart & Son h.c., J. Tilyard c. Young hens (21 entries): R. Stewart & Son 1, lan Mayes 2, W. Steer 3, Don McLachlan v.h.c., lan Mayes h.c., lan Mayes c. The chief positions in the points competition are held as follows:—A. Pinkney, 32 points; R. & K. Braggins, 23 points; lan Mayes, 15 points. The next show will be judged by Mr W. Drury and is for birds which have flown 200 miles.
