House points: Nikau 57, Kowhai 461, Rata 44, Konini 41-a-. Dance Largely Attended Theer was a very large attendance at the Home and School Association’s dance held in the Town Hall on Thursday night. Mr T. Udy’s orchestra supplied the music and extras were played by Miss C. Saba and Sgt. Dunning. Sgt. A. Anderson was M.C. The supper tables and stage were beautifully decorated by Mrs Fellingham. The ladies’ committee served supper. Personal. Mrs Hall, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs B. Ruane, Harrison Street, Featherston, for the Easter holidays. Dance and Euchre Party. An Easter dance and euchre tourney is to be held on Monday evening at the Kaiwaiwai Hall by the local War Services’ Committee. Good prizes are being offered for dance competitions and also for the euchre tourney. Udy’s Orchestra will play the dance music. An enjoyable evening is assur1 ed all who attend. COSY THEATRE “THE GAY SISTERS.” Tonight there will be shown at the Cosy Theatre the amazing love drama, “The Gay Sisters,” featuring Barbara Stanwyck, George Brent, Donald Crisp, Nancy Coleman and Geraldine Fitzgerald. It is a startling story of the love affairs of three sisters and what they brought about. The programme on Monday night will be headed by the brilliant drama, “In This Our Life,” starring Bette Davis, George Brent, Olivia de Havilland and Billie Burke.
