FINANCIAL & ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS (British Official Wireless.) Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) RUGBY, February 2. Two British-French agreements signed today lay a basis for financial and economic relationship between Great Britain and France. One is a financial agreement and the other a mutual aid agreement. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir John Anderson) said the agreements, which were on the lines of the agreement concluded between the two Powers in 1939, are a happy augury for the future financial and economic relationships between Britain and France. The negotiations were smooth and harmonious.
