GENERAL EISENHOWER
SUPREME COMMANDER IN BRITAIN. AFTER TALKS WITH CHURCHILL AND ROOSEVELT. LONDON. January 16. General Eisenhower is in Britain to take up duty as suprme commander of the Allied forces being organised here for the liberation of Europe. It is revealed today that General Eisenhower met Mr. Churchill for a conference before he left; the Mediterranean theatre for his new post. He then went on to Washington where ho remained for some days and had talks with President Roosevelt.
