PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs Reg. Watson, Fitzherbert Street, have returned home after having viisted Napier. The friends of Mr W. Nicie, who is at present in the Greytown Hospital, will be pleased to know that he is making satisfactory progress towards recovery. Mr H. Tutbury, Fox Street, is visiting her sister, Mrs Penny, at Dannevirke. Miss Nancy Corlett, Wellington, is spending the holidays with her parents. Mr and Mrs C. Corlett, Pihautea. The death occurred on Tuesday at her residence, Kahutara Road, Featherston, of Mrs Johanna Fuge, relict of Mr William Fuge, at the age of 77 years. Engaged at Market Gardens. Several local scholars who are at home for the school vacation are at present engaged in the market gardens in Greytown until the begining of this week. They have been journeying to and fro each day, but now they have taken up residence in huts provided for them by the Government. Cooking facilities, furniture and bed linen are provided for the workers. COSY THEATRE “TROPIC HOLIDAY.” Tomorrow night there will be shown the excellent musical comedy, “Tropic Holiday,” in which the chief roles are portrayed by Dorothy Lamour, Ray Milland, Bob Burns and Binnie Barnes The associate feature is the outstanding comedy, “The Ghost Breakers,” in which Bob Hope and Pauline Goddard are starred.
