KING VICTOR DENOUNCED IN NAPLES IMMEDIATE ABDICATION DEMANDED. NO DISORDERS AT MEETING. (By Telegraph—Press Association —copyright) LONDON, December 19. More than 5000 Neapolitans, in the first free political meeting since the' birth of Fascism, loudly applauded speakers who charged King Victor Emmanuel with moral responsibility for their oppression under Mussolini and called for his immediate abdication. Amgot had granted permission for the meeting at the last moment, having previously forbidden it for fear of rioting. Members of Italian political parties took personal responsibility for maintaining order, and sanction was given on that basis. There were no 1 disorders. The meeting was arranged to commemorate Giovanni Amendola, Italian journalist who died as the result of a beating at the hands of Fascist terrorists. Meanwhile, the heads of the political parties are awaiting an answer to their plea for permission to call a congress of the committees of national liberation- at Naples.
