WAIRARAPA v. SERVICES. TEAMS SELECTED. Wairarapa will be represented by the following in a match against the Services team on the showgrounds at Carterton on Saturday next. The game will commence at 2.45 p.m. Members of the team are to assemble at the Marquis Hotel at 1.45 o’clock —Full-back, M. J. Parker; three-quarters, F. Busch, A. Mahupuka, K. Braggins; fiveeighths, D. Clay, M. Hurley (captain); half, J. Tilyard; forwards, back scrum, McPhee; jniddle row, H. Matheson, Hurndell, Humphries, Waka; front row, Cope, Desmond, R. Conwell. Reserves: White (Carterton), Smith (Masterton), Taylor and W. Smith (Carterton). The manager will be Mr Joe Fitzgerald. The Services team, which will assemble at the Club Hotel, will be represented by the following. Mr K. H. Reid will manage the team:—Full-back, R. Brown (Army); three-quarters, Stevens, Hislop (Air Force), H. Gargen (Army); five-eighths, Wright (Air Force), Geary (Air Force); half, K. Black (Army); forwards, back row, Flatman (Air Force); middle row, Henderson (Air Force, captain), Anderson (Army), Dallifon, Mclntosh (Air Force); front row, D. Aherene (Army), Baghouse (Air Force), E. Cameron (Army). Reserves; Potts, Shanks (Air Force), Lee and Greenfield (Army).
