CHIMNEY REPAIRS
RELIEF SCHEME PROPOSALS UNDER WAY. EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT EXPECTED. “Plans for providing some assistance to property-owners faced with the cost of chimney repairs as the result of last year’s earthquakes are under way,” said Mr. J. Robertson, M.P., this morning. Mr. Robertson said that local autl'jkvities were being asked to supply (W--tain information to enable the proposals to be completed. The matter was being treated as urgent and Mr. Robertson said he was hopeful of an early announcement on the subject.
