WAR FINANCE

SUPPLEMENTARY STATEMENT TO BE RELEASED ESTIMATES AND IMPREST BILL. LABOUR CAUCUS & UNITY NEGOTIATIONS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A supplementary Financial Statement will probably be presented during the session of Parliament which is to be resumed on Wednesday along with the Estimates of departmental revenue and expenditure. An Imprest Supply Bill will be brought down either on Wednesday or Thursday, and this will probably contain financial provision for three months, till such time as the Estimates and the Appropriation Bill have been passed. A caucus of the Parliamentary Labour Party will be held on Wednesday, when no doubt consideration will be given the recent negotiations between the party leaders on the question of greater unity in the country’s war effort.
