KNOX CHURCH
SOCIAL GUILD. MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. The monthly meeting of Knox Ladies’Social Guild was held in the McLaren Room, Mrs G. W. Morice’ presiding over a largeattendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Traynor, Welsh and Ractliffe. Arrangements were made for the Ladies’ Guild to provide the Sunday night tea for soldiers at the Y.M.C.A. on June 21. It was decided that the annual meeting be held on July 8 at 2.30 p.m. in the McLaren Room. A pianoforte solo was- played by Margaret Bubbers, and a solo was given by Mrs Speight. A competition was won by Mrs Cottle. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Archer. Esau, Heyder, Butler, Cottle and Stubbings.
