The St. John Ambulance Brigade will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall tonight. The arrangements made should ensure patrons spending an enjoyable time. Mr C. Meachen (secretary and organiser of the Blood Transfusion Service) together with Dr. T. L. Parr, will give an address on the blood transfusion service in the Municipal Hall oi. Monday at 7.30 p.m. A social gathering will be held in the Epiphany Hall on Tuesday next at 9.30 p.m.. under the auspices of the Ladies' Guild. The charge for admission will be Is or a gift for the Bring artd Buy stall. Archdeacon Rich will give a talk on “Present Day Affairs.”
