QUEEN CARNIVAL SUCCESSFUL PADDY’S MARKET. ("Times-Age" Special.) The Country Queen’s supporters held i a .successful Paddy's Market in the Crown Theatre yesterday. All the well laden stalls did excellent business, and by the evening had all sold out. The evening session was well attended. The Masterton entertainers proved their worth and by their efforts the Country Queen has made an excellent star.’. The winners of the various competitions were: Baby’s dress: .Maureen Thompson. Dinner; Peggy Allen. Golliwog: Mrs D. C. Fairbrother. Box of sweets: Mrs Beu. Cake: Miriam Galyer. Twin dolls: Carol Anno Brady. Knitted Cardigan: EfTe Dennes. Duchess set: Mrs F. Fairbrothcr. Dalefield. Live cockerels: T. Gray. Lamb: P. Pope. Snowy Thomas and Ivan Hood. The supporters of the Maori Queen' will come before the public in full force next week and they should be well supported by the whole district in their effort. The dance in the Odd Fellows' Hall tonight will be conducted by the Town Queen supporters, and a good attendance is expected.
