LIKELY TO GO TO U.S.A. AS AMBASSADOR. MR. EDEN AS FOREIGN MINISTER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 21. “The Times” says that everything goes to show that Mr. Churchill is considering the Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, 'for the post of Ambassador to Washington. It is generally supposed that the present War Secretary, Mr. Eden, will become Foreign Minister.
