AMERICAN CLIPPER

DUE ON CHRISTMAS DAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 22. After having been delayed for five days at San Francisco because of bad weather, Pan-American Airways American Clipper left at 7.58 a.m., New Zealand time, yesterday on the first stage of her Pacific flight to Auckland. The clipper arrived at Honolulu at 8.17 am. today, and will leave tomorrow morning for Canton Island, where she is expected at 5.30 p.m. If not further delayed the clipper will arrive at Auckland on Christmas Day and will leave again for San Francisco on Friday. „ . , , Tasman Empire Airways flying-boat will leave for Sydney the day after the arrival of the clipper.
