ENEMY WASTE OF SHELLS IN STRAITS OF DOVER. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON, December 21. The Germans have abandoned the shelling of British convoys as the ships pass through the Straits of Dover, correspondents in south-east England report. The Germans fired 1500 shells without sinking one ship.
