Manawatu Cup Won by Belle Cane SIR BEAU SALUTES THE JUDGE LOCAL HORSES IN THE MONEY (BY "THE GRAFTER.") i The Manawatu Cup on Saturday was won by Belle Cane, who went out favourite and won by a head from The Buzzer. Sir Beau, a stablemate of Belle Cane, accounted for the Fitzherbert Handicap. The Masterton horse Counter ran third in the Tararua Handicap, Cheerful Lady was second in the Gillies Handicap and Vivid Night was second in the Maiden Plate.
