Hawke’s Bay Meeting Yesterday MASTER CYKLON WINS HASTINGS HANDICAP SAINT TOR SUCCESSFUL IN STAKES

At the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's meeting yesterday the Hastings Stakes for.’two-year-olds produced a new juvenile winner in Saint Tor, brother to Saxon Tor, who outclassed the Wanganui debutant winner Tetratina and 11 others. The winner’s speed is emphasised by the time of 49 for half a mile on a track that was giving the runners no assisCyklon scored a long overdue win from three others in the Spring Handicap, and Nigger Boy notched his first win for his new owners since coming from the South Island when he beat Vascones in the Flying Handicap.
