The monthly meeting of the Greytown District High School Committee was held on Monday evening, there being present Messrs H. G. Carter (chairman). F. Dennes (treasurer), W. Grigg, E. Galyer, J. Morison, G. Robinson, W. Wiggins, and Mrs Knell (secretary). The headmaster (Mr S. C. Shedden) reported that the attendance during the past month had been 90 per cent, which was very good considering the prevalence of influenza. The dental nurse reported that revisions had been commenced on 70 pupils. It was also reported that practically all the pupils eligible were receiving treatment, and that the dental treatment at the Greytown centre was working most efficiently. The chairman stated that some districts were having difficulty in connection with their dental clinics, but this did not apply to Greytown. This | was probably due to the fact that no charge was demanded from parents. In fact at times donations had been made by parents who appreciated the services rendered. It was pointed out that the clinic expenses were met from the generous grant made by the Town Lands Trust. The Education Board advised that its supervisor would visit the school shortly. The headmaster reported that a full supply of milk was now being received. BATTERSEA DAIRY FARMERS CHANGE TO CHEESE. Negotiations between the Battersea settlers and the Greytown Dairy Company have been completed and satisfactory arrangements have been made for the supply of milk.
