TABLE TENNIS
WINTER SPORTS CLUB OPENS SEASON.
The Winter Sports Club officially opened its table tennis season on Saturday evening, when a combined doubles tournament was played. There was a fair attendance, including a number of visitors from other clubs. The final resulted in a win for Messrs Sherrock (Winter Sports yClub) and Mitchell (Greytown), received five, who defeated Miss McKay (Greytown) and H. Myers (Mauriceville), minus seven. 21/16, 21/17. Supper was served by a ladies’ committee. .
