Herr Thyssen, the German industrialist, departed from Locarno for Paris, with his wife and all his baggage. He left' no forwarding address and asked the authorities to keep his whereabouts secret.

Officials at the German Legation said they were not surprised to hear that Herr Thyssen had gone to France. He could certainly never return to the Reich. Thyssen's friends say he still has large industrial interests outside Germany.
