GREYTOWN
A POPULAR SPOT MEMORIAL PARK CAMPING GROUND. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Greytown Memorial Park camping ground has been very popular over the holidays. At present there are six tents pitched under the native trees. The grass over the whole of the camping area is kept cut short and makes an ideal place for campers. Gas. water, and all conveniences are provided. There is no charge made; the campers are only expected to keep the site tidy. Personal Items. The Rev Cummings, of Marton, is the guest of Mr and Mrs 11. J. Nightingale, Jellicoe Street. Mr Howard Dunn has left on a motor tour of the North Island. Miss Ava Thompson, of the Dairy Co. staff, has returned from Wellington. Raspberry Picking. Raspbbrry picking is now in full swing in Greytown. ’ A Visit to Camp. A number of Greytown residents paid a visit to Trentham Camp yesterday.
