MASTERTON STOCK SALE. ■ Prices showed a sharp rise on short supplies at the Masterton stock sale held today. Buyers attended in failnumbers and there was free bidding. Quotations are: — Pigs: Weaners, 18s; slips, 26s 6d. Sheep: Fat wethers, 23s 3d to 28s; ewes, 23s to 265; shorn wethers, 225.
