GERMAN ADMISSION
PLANES OVER GERMAN TERRITORY. (Received This Day, 8.45. a.m.) NEW YORK, September 4. A message from Berlin to the United Press says it is announced that the “propaganda aeroplanes” are reported to have been driven off from German territory where they were dropping leaflets last night. OFFICIAL REPORT (Received This Day, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 4. A United Press London correspondent says the Ministry of Information has issued a communique stating that the Royal Air Force made extensive reconnaissance flights over northern
and western Germany last night, without enemy aircraft engaging. A radio broadcast states that the Royal Air Force carried out extensive reconnaissance flights over Germany and dropped six million leaflets. The machines were not interfered with by German aircraft.
