FAREWELL GATHERING PRESENTATION TO MR MCWHIRTER. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr G. M. McWhirter of the Mauriceville Dairy Company, who is leaving Mauriceville to take over the management of the Eketahuna dairy factory was tendered a “farewell” yesterday afternoon by the office and factory staffs of the Mauriceville Dairy Company and presented with a weather' glass as a small token of esteem. Mr F. W. Scherf. in making the presentation in a few well chosen words, referred to Mr McWhirter’s ability at his trade and the high esteem in which he was held, not only by his fellow employees but by all who came in contact with him. He wished Mr McWhirter every success in the future. Mr McWhirter in his reply said that he was not going very far away and would always remember his many friends in Mauriceville.
