Several references to the state of the buildings at Canterbury Agricultural College. Lincoln, were made by speakers at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Progress League. Discussing the work of the college, Mi S. L. Wright, president of the Manufacturers' Association, said he understood that progress was often held up by the need for improvements to the buildings at the college. He suggested that the present condition of the college might very well be a suitable object on which the league could exert its influence. Mr T. H. McCombs, M.P.. another speaker to discuss the college, agreed with the need for improvements, and said that a visit to the present buildings might surprise many people.
