MEETING AT TINUI.

(“Times-Age” Special.)

The monthly meeting of the Tinui Women’s Institute was held recently in the local hall, Mrs O’Hara presiding. Miss .Langdon demonstrated glovemaking which was very much appreciated by the members. The competition for the month resulted as follows:-—Shortbread, Airs Carmen, 1; Mrs McKay, 2. .Coat-hang-ers, Mrs Johnston, 1; Mrs Carmen, 2 and 3. Best bloom: Miss Atack, I; Miss 0. Owen, 2: Mrs Owen and Mrs McKay, equal 3. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs Owen and Misses E. and O. Owen. The meeting concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
