AUTONOMY FOR CROATS

OUTCOME OF NEGOTIATIONS IN YUGOSLAVIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SOFIA, May 28. The creation of a new autonomous Croat province embracing the provinces of Sava and Primorje with the town of Dubrovnic and the surrounding areas, is the principal outcome of the negotiations between the Croat leader, Dr. Macek; and the Yugoslav Premier, M. Csvetkovitch. M. Macek, in an interview today, said he agreed to decide by plebiscite whether Herzegovina and the adjoining districts should be united in the new province. Serbs would be given equality in the new commonwealth and only the army and foreign affairs would remain under the jurisdiction of Belgrade.
