INDOOR BASKETBALL
INTER-Y.M.C.A. MATCH. WIN FOR LOCAL TEAM. In a fast, clean game on Saturday evening, members of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. gained a victory over a team representing the Wellington club. The visitors returned to Wellington on Sunday after spending the weekend at Masterton. ’ Details are:—Masterton: J. Broome 12 goals, C. Greager 8, W. Reynolds, 6, total, 24. Wellington: N. Gunn, 5, •Watt 1, Total 6. In the weekly competition there will be no men’s games played other than a practice for the representative team. The draw is as follows: —Lancers v Woolworths, 7 p.m., C.- Smiths v W.F.C.A., 7.25 p.m., Men’s Representative team v a scratch team, 7.50 p.m.; Y.M.C.A. v Rovers, 8.15 p.m.; Ladies’ Representative ' team v a scratch team, 8.40 p.m.; Hugo and Shearer v United, 9.5 p.m., McDuffs, a bye.
