Miss Esma Card is visiting her sister, Mrs Ron. McKenzie, Pahiatua. Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea, has returned from a visit to Palmerston North. Mrs and Miss Sullivan, Kahutara, who has been on a visit to Feilding, have returned home. Mr and Mrs J. B. Ritchie, who have been spending a holiday with relatives, return to Wellington today. Mr W. Nix, son of Mr and Mrs C. J. Nix, Tauherenikau, who entered the Lewisham Hospital last Tuesday and was operated upon on Wednesday, is reported to be making satisfactory progress towards recovery. Mr and Mrs Horace Harland, Wairoa. who have been visiting Mr and Mrs Harland at Kahutara, have returned home, accompanied by Mr H. Harland Senr. Mr Horace Harland was on the P. and T. staff in Featherston for some years.
