ALLEGED THEFT OF SAFE

TWO BROTHERS ARRESTED (Bj r Telegraph—Press Association.) WHAKATANE, May 11. The police have arrested two men alleged to be guilty of the theft of a safe and contents from the shop of the Farmers’ Trading Company early on Sunday morning. One man, Graham Wilfrid Morton, alias Graham Wilfrid Clark, was arrested in Whakatane yesterday, and the other, George Morton, a brother, in Rotorua this morning. It is now estimated that the safe contained well over £lOO in cash.
