Fire at Masterton.
A fire occurred at Masterton on Saturday evening last, at halfpast nine, which destroyed the residence of Mr T Dixon, Worksop road. The fire bad to great a hold before the two Brigades could get to work, consequently the dwelling was completely gutted. A defective flue is supposed to be- the cause of the con. flagratiou. We understaud the building was insured for £4OO, and the furniture, which was burned, for £IOO.
