Bad News from Kimberley.

A resident in Wellington has received a lettar from a friend who went to the Kimberley Odd fields some months ago. In it he says : —“ There are men in scores starring there, and no prospect bot to starve. There is no geld getting, and they bare no money, so there is nothing for them bet to starve right oat. What with flies and snakes, and blacks and ants, and beat, life is a misery to man, I do bope yon won’t be on the way here before this reaches yoa ; and if yenr’re not don’t ever come. No matter what kind of reports are in the paper, don't ever come here. If yon do yon will be sorry lor coming.—From yours truly, D. M'Obath.”
