Tlm 'Qiqrtowa Rifle Volunteers have been **®ed into squads. ARC and D, under the non-commissioned officers. 6 and E squads have been drawn to shoot a tonrns* »ent on Saturday next. B and D squads *re arranged as follows B—Seigeaut Good*ug. Corporal Moors, Vols Gooding, Gronbe, ■jail, juu., Johnston, Bugler Hobman, Vole Varnham, Tocker and Lundqvist. D Squad, Bwgsant Humphries, Corporal HawVe, Vole J B Hobman, Higgins (2), J W Hawke, T. Jnglsy, May, Phillips and Boydhonse. A and C squads will fire on the following Saturday, if no subsequent arrangements are made. All members who do not roll up to compete in (these matches will forfeit their allowance of ammunition. The monthly parade of the Greytown School Cadets took place yeeterday when Sergsaat-Major Bexar put them through the usual evolution*. Captain Forritt and Lieut Cex may be congratulated upon the pros fieiency manifested, and Major Bunny did not fail to speak in warm terms of it, stating also that the lads as a whole were fit to pass for their capitation fee.
