GBBTTOWN CRICKET CIASU A general meeting of the Greytown Crick't Clnb was held in the Council Chamber* on Wednesday last to draw out a fresh code of rules tor the Club, the first rules having bee" mislaid or lost J. Tally, Esq , President, was in the chair. It was resolved that the former rules be rescinded. The meeting then proceeded to draw up fresh rules which, with one or two exceptions, seemed to give satisfaction. They are to be printed and every member of to have a oipy. Amongst other matters that were discussed was the amount that any one using the roller was to pay lor its hire, and the following bye law was passed—" That the roller be lent at a charge of 5s per day lor every day that the same may be away from the cricket reserve ; the person or persons having (ante to be responsible for any damage.’’ A vote of thanks to the chairman closed the meeting. •
The Greytown Cricketers are reminded of the match to morrow.
