Featherston Town Band.

A general meeting ui iheFeatherston Town Band Association was held on the 25ih August, in the Town Board office. Mr James Donald m III? cli air. The Secretary reported that the Band instruments were all iu good order and that the Band at present was twelve strong, including conductor, and that an entertaiument bad been given lately by which £lO 10s Id had been added to the funds. Mr C. Mac Shine was elected Treasurer and Messrs W. Hodder jun., W. Book and B. Barton memberr of the Committee, Messrs James Donald, O. Reynolds and W, Toogood being members ex offioio. A vote of thanks to the outgoing committee and to) the Chairman concluded the meeting,
