Sudden Death.
A terribly sudden death took pi ,cc in the chemist shop of Messrs fiarrnud ami Bods, Molesworth Street, Wellington, on Wednes* day morning at about II o'cloe 1- Mi John Dowdsweil, aged 69 years, who hj;« 1 ceo a messenger at the Government Bui. lings for some time past (says the Tinus), oon.plaiued of pains in the region of mo hcai'. Being sent to Sir Julius Vogel’s house wito messages he called in at Mr Leethnm's house, where, also, he bad to leave messages. There he again complained of pain. Leaving the room, ha went into Messrs Barraud’s shop to get some physio. He sat down} in a chair, and presently be expired with no other move* meat than a sigh.
