Inwards.—From Colonial Secretary'* office, acknowledging receipt of Featherston Town Board bye-laws. From Property Tax Department, enclosing Supplementary Roll from Crown Land*. From Ur J. H. Parker, asking for the use of the Town Board Office lor the purpose of giving a lecture on music. Outwards.—To Ur Fife giviu ghim notieeof termination of bis agreement as ponndkeeper. To Standard Office with oopy of adver* tisement re bye«law*. To W. Neale, with permission to cross footpath with building material. Resolved—l. That Mr Parker be allowed to use the Town Board Office for the purpose ef lecturing on music. 2. That the clerk write to Masterton about procuring trees lor planting reserve. 3. That on* month's notice of dismissal be given to the ranger. 4. That the Clerk write to the County Council, requesting them to bring the Slaughter-houses Act into force within the W.W.C. notice or MOTION, By Mr Oakly, That the charges ef 2s Id for giving notice of cattle impounded be reduced to Is.
