Since the appointment the Choir has very materially improved, and your committee would here Like to tender their thanks to Mrs Knell, Mr Porritt. conductor, and the members of the choir for their services for the past year. “ Your Committee are also very pleased to be able to report that the position of the general church fund for this district has very much improved during the past year owing to the very energetic exertions of the present local treasurer, Mr Wyett, who with the assistance of the lady collectors, notably Mrs Spratt, have collected sufficient, to pay np all arrears and have a considerable amount towards the half year’s contribution due 30th June last, a state of things that the Vestry hardly dared to hope could be accomplished daring the time, and the Committee desire to sincerely thank the collectors and Mr Wyett for their exertions. The Chairman thanked the outgoing office bearers for assistance rendered during the past year and stated that Church work was going on satisfactorily. The baptisms for Greytown were 26 as against same number last year. Marriages 5, as compared with 3 for 1884-5. The Sunday School was greatly in want of teachers.

The following office bearers were elected— Ur Caff, Clergyman’s Churchwarden ; Mr Wood, Parishioners’ Churchwarden, Vestry. Drs Spratt and Bey, Messrs Wyett, St George. Skeet, Brooks, and Rev Foiritt.

A vote of thanks to the Chair terminated the meeting.
