The Price of Frozen Meat.

Sous time back we published a paragraph showing the prices realised for frozen lambs in the London market. A correspondent of the Evening Post gives the following instance of how frozen sheep have been paying lately In February last 100 wethers were shipped by the Tongariro at this port. Their average weight was 781bs each, and the price offered for them at the station was Rd. The price they realised in London was sjd per lb, and the net return was equal to 16s each. Had they only brought 5d per lb, the result would have been very satisfactory.
