The Representation of the People.
Wi scarcely think that the question of re. adjustment of representation will be finally dealt with during the present session. The Government have decided not to lay before Parliament any proposal for reducing the number of the representatives of the people. The Post, however, states that a.Bill dealing with the redistribution question has been prepared, and that it is the' intention of the Premier to introduce it if possible this ses sion, leaving it to the House to say whether it shall be proceeded with, or held over until next session.
