Hospitals and Charitable Aid.
On the next occasion of the House going into Committee of Supply Mr Pearson is to move—l. “ That it the opinion of the House the contributions from the different local authorities [for Hospital and Charitable Aid should ‘be raised by a tax on property without any exemption ; and that the Government should collect and pay such tax to the several districts entitled to the same. 2. That the Government be requested to give effect by Bill to the foregoing resolution."
