Urgently Wanted.

To the Editor of the Standard,

Sib,— Allow me through the column* of your valuable paper to call the attention of the directors or manager* of the different Banking Institutions in New Zealand to the splendid opening for another Bank in Greytown. Mueh smaller town* and district* than ours hare two Bonks, and pay fairly well, and why should not Greytown support two I With all due respect to our Bank of New Zealand, I think a little competition would do good. Every business wants competition ; and why not a banking business 7 Besides, looking ahead at the approaching completion of two more hotels in Greytown ; look what an amount ol money they will bring to the place ; I am sure one bank will not be able to hold it all. But, joking on one side, Mr Editor, another nice large bonk building would not only look well, bat do fairly well in Greytown. I am, Ac., VOX POPTTLI.
