Floods in Southland.

The recent rains have been followed by the most disastrous floods that have occurred (or many years. Several breaks on the Invercargill, Kingston, Nightcaps, Waimea Plains, and Dunedin lines are reported. In one case the break is of a mile long, and will take some time to repair. The damage and loss of property mast be great, but as yet no particulars are to hand.
